Do your present window cleaning arrangements meet with your approval and Health & Safety Act requirements? (W.A.H. Reg 2005). As an employer you have a legal obligation to ensure the safety both of your own staff and any other person who may be on the premises.
1) Has your present contractor carried out a full risk assessment for window cleaning activities at your complex?
2) Has your present contractor produced liability insurance documentation to meet HSE requirements?
3) Has your contractor presented a current licence provided by your local governing council?
